Valuframe aluminium profile system : New products and catalogue now available. Skelmersdale 29-01-07 Automation Supplies Ltd is the new UK player in the aluminium profile market. In their quest to bring affordable alternative profiles to the market, a range of new radius profiles, an economy 40X40 profile and a new non drill connector are to be made available. The radius profiles are based on a Series40 profile footprint with 40mm dimensions for outer extremities and hole centres. These are compatible with the remainder of the 40 series profiles already available. The new radius profiles allow angles of 30° 45° 60° and 90° to be achieved in a gradual sweep, rather than a tight corner. For example, the 90° radius has an 80mm square footprint. This is useful in areas where a soft appearance and strength is required, such as stand alone hi-tech machinery and furniture. Another development is the introduction of a robust non drill connection system, designed for field service engineers and workshops with no drilling facilities. The Automatic Connector allows the user to connect any two Series40 profiles with only an allen key as tools. Two Automatic Connectors need to be used together to gain maximum joint strength. As with all Valufame products, prices are competitive. Lastly, another new Series40 profile will shortly be available. An extra light entry level 40X40 profile can be used when manufacturing guards and light duty frameworks. Details will be available in March 2007. These and other new products are shortly to be included in the new Valuframe catalogue, now available as download only at the Automation Supplies website. Short form data on Valuframe is available via download or post. Changing systems to Valuframe is easy. Valuframe profiles and components such as connectors, infill materials, castors, leveling feet, handles, hinges etc. are also compatible with market leading profile systems, lowering the traditional barriers to change for the user.
