Valuframe - The Economy Aluminium Profile System.Panel Strips and Seals.The most common way to secure panels into the frame with Valuframe is to use panel strips and seals. From the choice of the plastic panel strip and the rubber panel seal, most customers go for the first option. Each profile series has it's own panel strips and seals because the aluminium profile slots are different widths. It's not recommended to fit panel materials into the slot without these seals because they reduce vibration damage and noise, make a snug fit for the panel material and also prevent panel materials from coming into contact with the aluminium extrusion slot wall. Also, by reducing the width of the slot, you will normally reduce the cost of the panel material.
Panel strips Series 5The 2m long slot filler strip or channel reducer reduces width of the slot from 5mm to between 1-3mm. It’s used for inserting panel materials into the slot but it also doubles as a cover for the slot when reversed.
Panel strips Series 6This 2m long slot filler strip or channel reducer reduces width of the slot from 6mm to between 2-3.5mm.
Panel strips Series 8 & 8X30This 2M long slot filler strip or channel reducer reduces width of the slot from 8mm to between 4-6mm. In series 8 there are a few more colours of strip available, as sometimes these colours are used to indicate a safety guard, a removable panel or as a branding indicator.
Panel seal strips Series 8 & 8X30These rubber slot filler seals reduce width of the slot from 8mm to between 2-6mm depending on which one is used. This material is available in a continuous length up to 100M and is available in black only.
